Wash it before you wear it

Every mask is printed to order, so it reaches you straight off the press. Give it one cold machine wash before the first wear — it softens the fabric and settles the print.

What it's made of

• 100% polyester — strong, holds its shape, dries fast
• Two layers of cloth
• Flat-woven elastic ear loops, so they don't dig in
• One size fits all — 7.25″ wide × 4.63″ high
• Reusable — wash it and wear it again

Washing

• Machine wash cold (max 30°C / 90°F)
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry — hang it up, it dries quickly
• Iron or steam on low heat only, and keep off the print
• Do not dry clean

Hot water and tumble drying are what wreck the elastic and dull the print. Cold wash, hang dry, and the mask will last.

What this mask is — and what it isn't

Cartel Masks are non-medical cloth face coverings, sold as a fashion accessory. They are not a medical device, not personal protective equipment, and not a respirator. They are not FDA-cleared, not NIOSH-approved, and not an N95 or a surgical mask. They are not designed, tested, or sold to prevent, treat, or reduce the transmission of any disease, illness, virus, or infection, and we make no claim that they do.

If you need protection from an airborne hazard — at work, in a medical setting, or anywhere else — use certified equipment rated for that purpose and follow the guidance of a qualified professional.

Something wrong with it?
